I love who you are, I love who you ain’t

I love who you are, I love who you ain’t

Bringing together an eclectic mix of emerging artists, I love who you are, Love who you ain’t is a celebration of will and nuance in black artistic expression. This group exhibition of 12 artists of the African diaspora is about the nature of perseverance and self embrace.

Each work nods to pushing through challenges in order to stand in one’s own light. Unabashed self acceptance is at the forefront of their work. Taking its title from an OutKast lyric, I love who you are, Love who you ain’t breaks the myth of perfection to showcase works that play at the edges of grace and nonconformity.
